Known for its produce, quality meats, and especially fresh beef and chicken, it offers excellent value The weekend sales are particularly good with two for one specials on fruit and vegetables and frequent deep discounts at the meat counter (take a number as soon as you arrive as it can be busy!)

The excellent Botanikal Macrobiotica health food store is situated in the same mall as MegaSuper. This health food store boasts a comprehensive stock of vitamins and supplements. What truly makes it stand out is the very knowledgeable bilingual staff who will even place special orders for you. Botanikal Macrobiotica also has a traditional pharmacy section in case you want to consult a pharmacist or fill a prescription.
SuperCompro – Tamarindo Grocery Stores in the Town Center
SuperCompro is a medium sized grocery store in the Tamarindo town center. Its walkable location makes it popular with those who don’t want to drive to get groceries. SuperCompro is part of a national chain, and there is a larger version in Huacas. The Tamarindo SuperCompro is located next to the Diria condos – about 10 minutes on foot from La Perla Tamarindo.
